Very nice soul food restaurant. The food is so tasty and the atmosphere is even better. If you're ever in Cleveland, you must visit this place.
We started with appetizers got the catfish fingers ????& fried green tomatoes.???? The catfish was not fresh. One the fried green tomatoes the breading was so hard there was no biting into it & the tomatoes were not cooked at all! Neither appetizer came out hot. They were barely room temperature. After the appetizers we chose not to get anything else. The waitress never came by to check on us. Then to top it all off they charge you a 18% "service charge"!!! The waitress was rude, at least towards us. We felt that because we were not African American we got horrible service & sub par quality food. I say this after watching our waitress interact with every other table she had with kindness, & attentiveness, except our table. We were the only people in the whole place that were not African Americans. We have NEVER been treated like that in any other restaurant! Anywhere we travel, we eat at a wide variety of different restaurants.
Inconsistent flavors, and on more than one occasion the food has been overcooked or not fresh. I've tried them a few times, and its definitely buy at your own risk. Have you ever seen a thigh as dry as these?
