Wasn’t sure what to expect, knew it was affiliated with the teaching establishments in the area. That can be hit or miss. Though I was severely underdressed compared to the rest of the people in there, I had a fantastic time and a better meal. Wait staff was attentive and polite and the food was perfection, exactly what I needed my brunch to be.

This was an absolutely great brunch spot!! They were accommodating to my party of 3 and pet, even without a reservation. We were outside but the shade and weather were just perfect. The complementary valet was just the start; even though we had a waitress who just started, she was detailed, attentive and comfortable. The manager, chef, valet at one point, and other servers all kindly checked in to make sure we (and of course our dog) were making out okay. But the food really stole the show here, and had everyone snatching items off each other’s plate! Some must tries include the corned beef hash, brunch burger, and the Adams Cheddar Grits. Be careful with the twice cooked potatoes too; if you look away from them twice they’ll be gone! I cannot get over how welcoming the experience was, and I look forward to visiting again next time I’m in town! Shout out to our server, Tara!

The brunch was wonderful! Easily the best meal out I’ve had in a year of living in Cleveland. I walked away wanting the Bloody Mary recipe, and my friend who grew up in coastal Louisiana, said the grits were the best he’d ever eaten. And it’s not enough that the food is simply fantastic, it’s also a 501c(3) back-to-work program, and the vision of one person trying to make a difference. Feeds the body and the soul.
