Place is great for rice plates w/BBQ pork, duck, etc. Also great for sit down dinners as well. Personal favorite is the salt and pepper baby beef ribs. (Not sure if they make it anymore)
A non descript neighborhood Chinese restaurant near the intersection of Geneva and Mission, Ying Hui offers a broad selection of low priced Cantonese food. Located in front of the bus stop near a gritty intersection, Ying Hui isn't a great dining destination but for those in the know, and those in the neighborhood know, this restaurant offers good food at low prices. A popular item is their roast duck. It looks like they use fresh and not frozen ducks for roasting. It is apparent when you eat it. Currently a roast duck is $20 Call and Order ahead on the phone and have someone drive you over there to pick up. Take it home (whole), heat it back up in an oven to crisp the skin and then cut it up Chinese style into bite size pieces. It's worth the effort . Their roast pork is delicious too.
Pretty good for an average neighborhood Chinese food place. We had the Lobster yi-mein - $16.99. Great price! I was expecting $30 or something. Had some large pea sprouts - a little greasy, but nothing extraordinary. Fried salt and pepper pork chops - pretty good - crispy outside, well seasoned. Fukien fried rice. Buddy and friend both enjoyed it. The wife said there was something she didn't like about it. The seafood tofu clay pot - very flavorful, great tasting. All in all, this will definitely be my go-to Chinese food spot since I live close by and the food is really not bad at all.
