Yianni's Gyros

We are from NYC and we know what good Greek food is supposed to taste like; sadly this did not meet our expectations. We had high hopes and wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, the food lacked flavor and it left much to be desired. The souvlaki was so dry and tough and had no flavor also the pita that came with it was also dry and hard. The traditional and chicken gyros lacked flavor and the texture seemed off. The fries were so soggy and tasteless. The salad looked nice. However, it was dry and they didn’t put dressing on the salad or give us any on the side. The lemon potatoes were cut so big that some were extremely undercooked. They had no flavor.

One of my favorite new places! The best Lamb Gyros in the area, and prices are great! Many of the desserts are homemade, and the Baklava cheesecake is my new guilty pleasure! The salads we ordered were huge, fresh, and a better option for when I return and have the homemade Greek wedding cookies!

What a fantastic stop! Everything was fresh and delicious. They even make the pita bread. The hummus was excellent. Our only regret was that we all enjoyed our entrees so much we filled up and could not order desert.
