Went this past Friday. Loved it. Nice ambient spot for an intimate dinner. Service at bar while we waited for our party was quick. However, once seated at our table we were forgotten. We were lucky that Ariel was there as she swooped in to assist and offered such great service and hospitality. Drinks were a bit pricey but good. Our table ordered the deviled eggs, and fish dip... these were good. I had the Sweet Tea Braised Short Rib which was nice and tender. Overall good experience would go again.
The food was very excellent. The portions are absolutely filling. I really enjoyed the eggs Benedict. The deviled eggs were also nice and creamy. Would absolutely come back again.
I didn't realize Yardbird opened in Dallas, but boy was I happy to see them on the map close to my hotel. I have been to the Vegas location many times, in fact in my previous job we rented out the whole restaurant a few years in a row for our trade show. I have also been to the Miami location which I believe is the original one. The location here in Dallas does not disappoint. I have to say my only complaint was the service which is why I am giving them only 4 stars. The restaurant was not crowded at all, and yet we barely saw our waiter and I had to actually ask someone to get our waiter. Normally I would excuse this to the staffing challenges, but there were plenty of staff around and as I mentioned very few tables that were occupied. But overall the Yardbird experience is phenomenal. The food was consistent with my many previous visits to other locations. It's absolutely DELICIOUS.
