Yamato Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

Pretty good overall. Really good service, the food was good and the place seemed pretty busy. The bar looked real nice for a good stop for a drink and the hibachi tables accommodated quite a bit of people. Our servers were attentive and the cook was very friendly and entertaining. Will go there again sometime!

Alex was our cook. What a FANTASTIC experience. Super good food, calamari was on point! What a fun presentation! Price was definitely perfect according to portions! 10/10 will return!

We arrived at 8:30. The waitress asked us what we wanted to drink and we told her, she then said, I "It is really last call so you have to order whatever you will have now". She brings my wife's soup for her meal and it is around 100 degrees because it was warmer than my mouth a couple of degrees based solely on the warmth felt when it touched my tongue. She came near and we asked if they could heat it up a tad. She came back with another bowl that was effectively 1 degree warmer. Then she brings the meal. I ordered a spider roll and have eaten it at every sushi place I go. This one looked like a 1/2 to 3/4 of a normal sized role and the ingredients we're so superior as to offset the size. It did taste good.
