Went there with a party of 5 and it was my 1st time there. Very nice spot and a good place for a 1st date BUT the place HAS GOT to fix the HVAC system. While the food was awesome, the environment inside was not. I was a little uncomfortably warm but the 3 ladies in our table were visibly hot to the point that we didn’t finish our dinner and took home leftovers and didn’t even order dessert because the ladies were too uncomfortably hot. They even tried going to the bathroom to cool off but it was worse there. There was one measly floor fan for the entire room and I was very surprised not to see a ceiling fan in a room with a tall ceiling. We would like to come back and enjoy a full evening but we might have to wait till winter to do that. Our waitress was a little forgetful at times but was apologetic about it. We hope our next experience will be better. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options.
We attended the 14th anniversary Oyster night celebration ????! Grilled and raw oysters , also a great oyster chowder. Good wines ????and local beers ???? ( IPA) availability. Live entertainment was instrumental and mellow.???? At the present time the kitchen is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday brunch with a varied menu! Call ???? or text for info!! The ???? fire pit was a great addition for warmth and outdoor seating!
This was our first time at Woodberry Kitchen. We had heard many raving reviews pre pandemic and were eager to use our gift card when they reopened. The room was intimate, only about 10 tables and a very small bar. The seating at some of tables was also small. But the intimate setting was a nice change of pace. The menu was also very limited. A two page menu and only a quarter of it was for food. We both ended up getting a special, scallops, which were delicious. It was a nice evening out for a special occasion. I do wish they would include some more typical items on the menu, for those that may not be as adventurous. They do have a late night option for walk ins that sounds fun, but otherwise be sure to grab a reservation!
