Wild Rose Eatery and Bar

Stopped here for appetizers and drinks. The somtam/papaya salad was extremely disappointing and nothing like what you would get in Laos or Thailand. The service was mediocre. It was prompt at first but they disappeared after we ordered.

Had the Beet Salad & Lechon Pork with a glass of Deschutes Squeezy Rider. Beet Salad was tasty. Flavors & textures were a nice blend. The Lechon pork had a nice kick to it. It was NOT overly hot and I thought it was flavorful. My partner in crime had the Short Rib Pappardelle. She thought it was quite good. The Squeezy beer had a strong hoppy flavor with a pleasant fruit after taste. Service was great & I enjoyed the decor & the Halloween costumes of the staff. Will be back.

Very nice new place, delicious food (sushi roll, seviche, won ton, brussel sprouts), nice interesting drink (gin with lavender and such... tastes and smells delicious). Nice ambience, music was not too loud so we could talk, but loud enough so we did no have to talk and still not feel awkward. Has a very large bar with TVs, tables with extra comfortable chairs, and booths with soft pretty sofas, with lots of space. Will be back!
