Wild River Grille

Love the location and atmosphere and have been a couple times before for lunch, but last night’s dinner experience was really disappointing. Service was incredibly slow. It was a LONG time between when we finished the app and someone finally came to clear the dirty plates as they were bringing out our entrees. It was difficult to even order a second drink and probably 45 minutes after we finished until they even offered dessert. By that time we were just ready to go home. My salmon was good but my husband’s steak was dry. For what we paid we expected better. ($210 before tip for 4 people, only 2 drinks and one app) When making the reservation and at the check in we also said that it was our friend’s birthday and that’s why we were there but that was never acknowledged. Disappointing…

Beautiful restaurant with breathtaking views. The tacos were off temperature but I came with a large group so I'm sure they kitchen was just trying to time the food so that everyone's food came out at the same time. Many at my table grumbled about the temperature of their food. Other than that, the food was tasty. I would return.

We had great service, great food and a wonderful experience here. We started with the caprese bruschetta and it was delicious. I wish there were more of us because the have so many appetizers that looked so good! I ordered the elk medallion, my wife ordered the chicken piccata. One child had noodles while the other had a cheese sandwich. Everything had great flavor and was well balanced with no flavor overpowering the dishes. This restaurant has great value and we would visit here again without hesitation.
