I ordered a meal from here and what I saw from the drive thru window was shocking. I guess they were short staffed because the same worker mopping the floors made my food wearing the same gloves that were ripped and his palms were exposed to the food. He also opened the window with the same gloves and proceeded to go back to making food. Poor food safety. I will not be going back, which also explains why the location in Villa Park might've shut down.
I used the drive thru since the restaurant was basically empty....I ordered 2 1921 cheeseburger, chicken rings, 3 sliders and a couple of pops. The food was great. The service, not so much. The biggest problem I had was that it took foooreeever to get our food. At least 15 minutes. I'm not sure if they were short staffed, but for fast food, that was ridiculously slow.
Had a craving for White Castle so my son and I went for a midnight snack. Food was quickly prepared and it was delicious. It was late so the place was empty but drive through was busy. We ate inside and the place was nice and clean!
