Waters Edge

Attended a meeting here as a presenter. The room was oddly set. Great for a meeting but limited access to electricity. Assistance was requested and provided by friendly and helpful maintenance staff.

Came for Mother’s Day brunch (first time customers- we do a lot of brunch buffets) and it was a very sad spread. No bread in general or potato’s. They had an omelet station, salad, shrimp, and 4 hot plates. It felt like a very last minute set up and they didn’t know it was Mother’s Day. It looked like others too seemed confused on the buffet selection. When asked if there was any toast for the omelets or even pancakes/waffles, they said no, just what you see. We then asked the waitress and she said if we wanted toast it would be extra charge, when paying $65 per person, you would think it would be a normal brunch spread bread, lunch items, omelet , waffles, drinks. Oak brook has so many great restaurants and I wish Waters Edge’s menu was posted before we arrived so we knew what we were getting. Hope this feedback helps the management team create a better future experience to others. 5 star for the staff, 1 star buffet organizer.

Reduced quality and service with pre-pandemic pricing. Pick up something on the way to the hotel or go out. Not worth it.
