Washoe Public House

Went on a Sunday evening while visiting in Reno. There was not wait time which was great! This is a nice place to relax with family or friends. The food had large portions, and was delicious! The waite staff was attentive, but not over-bearing.

Sat on patio, lots of seating inside and out, with friendly staff. Small plates were great, salad only so-so, but the desserts were phenomenal! Cheesecake not sweet and goey, and homemade graham cookie ice cream sandwich was big enough for two with roasted marshmallow!!! Kid friendly too, even has coloring page menu.

Super delicious food! I came for lunch and then for dinner a different day, both days the servers were really friendly and helpful. For lunch I got the venison carpaccio with honey sauce on the side, bison au jus, and rock candy short rib poutine along with a drink I had made with peach vodka, elderflower tonic, luxardo, brown sugar, and a cherry]. For dinner I got the double elk chop and a side of fries. The fries portion is huuuuge! All of the food was great, although I wasn't a big fan of the cheese on the au jus. Everything else was wonderful, thank you!
