Wasabi Sushi Lounge

One of the best restaurants for sushi in this area. Went with my boyfriend for a special dinner and not only was the service fast and friendly the food was delicious and really a good value!! Portion lu sizes were generous and things were fresh and just delicious we had a great time! Also this was during the height of Covid and I was really impressed and appreciated all the precautions that the staff put in place to make sure people were wearing masks when they were not at their tables and that everyone was socially distanced and I felt very safe in regards to that. I don't eat sushi much but it was very good nonetheless. The have some fancy schmancy sushi I'd love to try but for our first visit we stayed basic. Their gyoza is delicious and their edamame is flavorful. We got those two appetizers, and 3 different kinds of sushi (18 rolls) and that stuffed us full for two people! Less than $20/person for lunch. Atmosphere is also pleasant with a lot of space. Hostess/server were very nice as well ???? Edit: Came here a second time and had an entrée. It was so delicious and came with soup AND salad. Gotta come here another time for a drink because I saw the ones they were delivering to other tables and they looked yummy.

The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because of the Lobster Cigars. Three of the four rolls didn't have all the ingredients listed in the description and none of them looked appetizing and it smelled a little weird. I still decided to give them a chance but they all tasted terrible, possibly like the protiens were old. They were mushy and had some odd and overpowering flavors. I had to throw most of it away. I love sushi, I eat it all the time, so this was seriously disappointing for the price I paid. I could have gotten better sushi from Meijer. I will never order from here again.
