STOP Looking, you found it. Look at the pics, I travel everywhere and this is the Best Seafood from all around. I found it on our last night, if I would have found it on our first night, we would have eaten here Every Night and would have tried something different each night. These people have Real Chefs and know what the he'll they are doing. Yes it is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. For 4 people as an appetizer get the calamari, it's huge. Go between 4:30pm & 5pm or 8pm & 8:30pm. Happy eating. ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? .

Rustic Joy. One of the Sarasota landmarks when it comes to food and drinks (mostly food I’d say). This one of the venues we got recommendation when my wife and I moved to Sarasota and we decided to give it a try. If you look at it from outside, you might think about the classic hole in the wall serving bar food. We’ll be ready for a surprise. First you are welcome by a generous scoop of their complimentary spread and saltines: so addictive especially the smoked one. Then my wife and I shared the Captains platter and things got even better. The sweetness of the sea scallops, the tenderness of the lobster, the red snapper perfectly cooked were a delightful mix perfectly mating with the vegetables part of the platter ( the garlic potatoes were to die for). We went back several times and we never got disappointed. A special mention to their version of the bouillabaisse. As European ( Italian) we are used to the French or traditional Tuscany (cacciucco) versions, which are richer in flavor.

Every time I’m in Sarasota, I always make sure I plan a meal at Walt’s Fish Market. This time was no different and I once again had some great seafood! My wife had the seafood bouillabaisse with everything in it and wow was it good. I had the char grilled plate and it was cooked to perfection. Grouper, shrimp, scallops etc had a great flavor also. I will be back.
