Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux - Viera Restaurant

We stopped in for dinner on the first Saturday of college football, and had a blast! There is a great selection of food and a full bar. Avery was on point tonight, making sure we had everything we wanted. I ended dinner with an order of beignets for dessert. Yummy!!

This is probably the worst restaurant in the area. We waited thirty minutes (reasonable for Saturday night) just to wait another twenty for our server to show up. Service was friendly, but he never came back to our table after taking food and drink orders - which were brought out by kitchen staff/runners. We had to wait and ask for basic things like utensils and napkins. Ordered the boom boom shrimp which showed up with EIGHT pieces. At time of writing this, it is 10.99 - we paid $1.37 a piece for frozen aisle variety sized shrimp (see photo). The BBQ pulled pork sandwich I ordered had decent flavors, despite the top bun looking smashed, and dry. Honestly, the best part of the experience were the two bar drinks we ordered. Was expecting better from prior reviews.

We went when it was full of post little league game kids, so it was very noisy and service was spotty. The Burger as fine, but difficult to eat by hand as it fell apart when biting. The avocado chicken club was liked by my wife. Our bacon wrapped shrimp jalapeno poppers tasted good, but the bacon was near raw. The beer special was super cold and for $3, a great deal. I would go back, but only in the evening when there would be fewer kids. Kid-friendliness: Several hoop games and arcade games.
