Must Try Dishes
When eating at Wahlburgers in Detroit, Michigan, one must try their signature Our Burger, a mouth-watering Angus beef patty topped with homestyle fixings. For something a little different, the Thanksgiving Day sandwich is absolutely delightful, featuring fresh roast turkey, stuffing, mayo, housemade orange-cranberry sauce and roasted butternut squash. Moreover, their seared chicken sandwich is a tasty option for non-beef eaters. Finally, don't forget to indulge in their creamy and dreamy frappes for dessert, especially the Fluffanuttah, made with vanilla ice cream, whole milk, Marshmallow Fluff, and crunchy peanut butter.

Really good! They have gluten free buns and we had the adult shake, so yummy. The burgers were good sizes too.
Stopped in before the Elton John concert for dinner and was not disappointed! The food was great, drinks were phenomenal, but what was even better was the service we received from the waitress working behind the bar. They were very short staffed on a busy evening and despite some tough conditions and rude patrons, she was still full of kindness and wonderful hospitality! Really made our dinner top notch! Vegetarian options: They do have some salads but also have a vegetarian burger as well. Kid-friendliness: They have some wonderful choices for kids, and when fully staffed to handle it they have a section upstairs that looked to be more family accommodating. Parking: It is down town Detroit, right in the Greektown area.....closest parking would be the parking garage at Greektown Casino. However even from the Stadiums it is only a short 6 block walk or so. Took us about 10 minutes to walk from Ford Field.
We came to town for a concert and stumbled across Wahlburgers. Since we’re huge Burger and Tots sorta guys we thought this had to be a win. We were incorrect. The wait for our food was about 40 min and they seemed short staffed.. so completely understandable. Our waitress did as good as can be expected and was very pleasant and apologetic. The food itself was VERY underwhelming. Both burgers were completely flavorless and super greasy. Mine was the fiesta burger so you’d think there would be tons of flavor ( jalapeños, salsa etc). Nope. We also got a tots flight. The bacon cheese tots were actually very good despite the undercooked onions. The bbq chicken tots were also good but neither of us were a fan of of the bbq sauce. The truffle tots.. eh.. and I am a truffle/ mushroom fiend generally. Too much truffle oil. We got tots with the burgers too because a slaw upgrade was $3.95 more each because they consider it a premium side. We were both going to buy T Shirts but after the underwhe
