Had an absolutely great time. Thank you Hilary for the recommendations around the menu. The lamb gyro was amazing. The drinks were outstanding. The lucky peach was very yummy and refreshing. Great atmosphere and the best staff ever. Definitely recommend!
The food here is very good and reasonably priced but what made my dinner exceptional was the service. The waitresses were about to change shifts so I had two waitresses and one additional young woman for water, etc. They all were funny, helpful and always had a smile. It is rare to go to a restaurant these days and get that kind of friendly service and attention. Kudos to them all. Don’t forget to ask for hot sauce for the gyro and kebabs.
Detroit was our last stop on our 18 day round trip coast to coast road trip and we couldn't have picked a better place for dinner! The food was excellent and moderately priced, the wait staff was superb, and the atmosphere was charming! We dined on a Sunday evening and they had a live pianist playing all of my favorite tunes! Our meal: bottle of red wine (St. George) octopus, lamb souvlaki, pork souvlaki, lamb kabob, Greek coffee, kataifi, and their signature dessert. They were up front about automatically including a 20% gratuity for their wait staff, which was well earned! I highly recommend this restaurant. Parking: We parked in a nearby municipal lot near our hotel which was within walking distance to Greek Town, but there is also street parking in the vicinity. Kid-friendliness: It's a family friendly place, but don't expect crayons. It's definitely geared towards adults. They also have an adjacent bar/cafe.
