Waffle House

Went to waffle House on Sharon road 45241 after being told at another waffle House that they were closed for an hour to clean at 4:00 a.m. . This waffle House gratefully accepted our request for a takeout order. I truly appreciated that they did that. Even though they too said that they did not have enough workers to work the restaurant and to clean up. I understand post covid so I was very appreciative that they made the food that we could take home.

The waitress was not as talkative and outwardly cheerful as most, but she was competent and the food was delicious! We asked for veggies in our hash browns and he gave us our money's worth in jalapeños and mushrooms. Coffee was made fresh for us as well. Waffle House is the best and this one is no exception. Vegetarian options: Hash browns can be doubled or tripled to make platters, and many veggies are available as add-ons. The grill is cleaned between meals. Toast, cereal, grits, and biscuits also available.

We just stopped there for a quick brunch before getting back on the road. The cook was super helpful with menu choices - offering recommendations that saved money, and on top of that, the food was really good!! Would definitely revisit!
