Can’t give Waffle House a 5 - since they couldn’t they the hash browns quite right. However, has always, the service was incredible (in that perfect Waffle House way) - the people there were awesome (as always after 10:00 pm - and the food was legit!
When asked at the register "How was everything?" I let them know that the grits weren't fully cooked and that I did not eat them. I was offered and apology and told that sometimes they just taste that way but they would let them know. It was not offered a refund. I think I should have been given a refund. Apparently they shouldn't bother asking how everything was. Everything else was good.
