Beyond disappointed ☹️ I LOVED ME sum Viva Chicken! The sauce… they have a unique flavor and the chicken is moist & flavorful. NOT TODAY. It appears to be, but can we say dry!?! The corn salad was under cooked and the sauce were watered down. I can only imagine the issues restaurants are having , but to sell food that’s not up to standard, good quality is just terrible. The beans are good and they have a avocado dish that’s amazing. The restaurant was very clean & customer service was great! They’ve always been great with communication, making you feel welcomed. The prices have tremendously increased, but that’s everywhere. There great menu selections, a nice variety!
We've went to Viva regularly over the last few years and the food is usually great. Last week we purchased food, it appeared to generate two orders. When we called the lady appeared to not care, so we called back and waited on hold for 15 minutes or so to be told one would be taken care of. We pick up our food, confirmed verbally that an order would be cancelled. It's been 5 days and I finally put in a dispute with our credit card company. I wish I didn't have to monitor stuff like this for 39 dollars which could have been easily fixed by Viva staff.
Ordered the Arroz Chaufa de Pollo without the vegetables. Even the juice had a weird taste to it. It didn’t taste fresh. Service was slow. Food was horrific. Money wasted. I trashed it as it was inedible. Some parts of the rice were mushy, while others were hard. The chicken looks too pink for my liking and didn’t appear done. Food prices are too expensive these days for food to be garbage and there not be quality control and better presentations.
