As a new arrival to the Richmond area, I have been trying out restaurants. I hoped to find barbecue near me, and up came Virginia Barbecue. I initially tried the Pork barbecue platter with baked beans and cole slaw. Loved all of it! Next, I decided to try the hot dog combo with baked beans and green beans. Yum! I love the food, the service, and the menu!
Stopped in for lunch and got a platter. The ribs were so tender, tasty and messy. And still more to eat NC BBQ, fresh Cole slaw and hot hush puppies. What a great lunch. Boy this was a great fill you up lunch. Very good eating! Parking: Easy , close-up off street parking.
The food was wonderful and service was quick! We ordered ahead for pick up to share with family in the area and they were incredibly nice on the phone and in person. I highly recommend them and will definitely stop again when in the area.
