Hobnob

Definitely a Northside gem. Nice menu and cocktail selection. Crab cakes were great but sides were unimpressive. I like the atmosphere and they have a decent outdoor seating area. Would definitely recommend and not much can beat it in this area. This chicken salad was great with the homemade hot sauce on the side.

I’d give Hobnob a 4.5 if I could! I was thrilled to try this place given it’s tucked into our Lakeside neighborhood, and it did not disappoint. They rotate their menu seasonally, which means I will be coming back to try more. The space is small, but they expand seating onto two tiny patios (one patio is covered). I was wowed by their pumpkin soup (spicy!!) which paired beautifully with the bright and sweet poached pear salad. We gave the butternut squash lasagna a try, but its delicate flavor was blanketed by a red sauce that did not do it justice. Overall I was very pleased and quite happy to have this so close to us. Be sure to reserve ahead of time since it fills up fast!

We highly recommend trying Hobnob. The staff is friendly, and the food is FANTASTIC! Atmosphere is warm and cozy. You'll need to have a reservation because they have limited seating.
