Village Pizza and Pub Elgin

We had rented the back room for our 50th class reunion. Nice appetizers and salad. Choice of many types of pizza.

This was my first time at Village Pizza. We came with friends for Thursday night trivia along with their special food and wine tasting. The tasting was a great way to try potential new items to the menu and the wine tasting let you see what the restaurant offered. Trivia was a blast, we had a party of 6 in the bar area. As always, the pizza was so good! The bartenders were our servers, and they were very attentive despite how busy it was. The manager Shannon stopped by to make sure everything was to standard. Overall great experience and definitely recommend Thursday trivia!

The service here is really bad. I came here 6 months ago and they never served our table until we had to ask a bus boy to get a waitress for us. We came back thinking about giving it another chance because the food was good. We waited 20 min and no one even acknowledged we were there. After 20 min a party of like 8 walked in and they were served immediately. We just got up and walked out. Definitely won’t be coming back.
