Village Inn

I’m from Kansas City, and the Village Inn in KC is my FAVORITE. I usually get the Rio Grande skillet. But apparently this location doesn’t have any of the supplies to make this dish, very disappointing. So I called ahead and ordered 1 meal, and I was told it would be done in 10 minutes. When I arrived, I was told I had to wait for my 1 to go order to be fixed because they’re still making a order for a table of TEN people. Kind of confused as to why I could get my ONE to go meal, and have to wait longer than the 10 minutes I was told, making me LATE to work. Very disappointed. I only gave 3 stars because I like the Village Inn in KC.

Server was welcoming, for took order and didn't write it down. Friend ordered a skillet and was not asked toast or pancakes and just received pancakes. I really enjoyed Father's Day brunch at Village Inn. My entire family was happy with what we got. There's something for everyone here. The service and value were excellent. I would go back.
