Serving water in huge pitchers was the best thing about the restaurant. Tuna salad croissant was amazing, the filling was juicy, flavory and not so cold, and the croissant was so flaky and buttery. It melted so well. And they serve eggnog milkshake throughout the year, which is awesome. I'm gonna come here again, no doubt. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options in the menu.
Glad we got to try this restaurant! We went on a Sunday - it was busy and there was a wait, but not too bad (15-20 min). The food and service were both great.
Three of us showed up for a little bit later lunch. After a small wait for a table to become available, we were seated with a smile. The Village Cafe has a very large menu. It took some time to decide what to get. I ordered the chicken salad club sandwich. It was very large. I finished about 3/4 of it before having to give up. The chicken salad was pretty good. Perhaps I tasted a bit of tarragon in the mix? Anyway overall it was a great lunch with family.
