A small restaurant that sits on the 2nd floor with an entrance that makes you think you’re walking out of a maintenance closet. Very unassuming. Don’t let it fool you though, as soon as you walk in it has a very cozy and classic feel. Wife and I didn’t have to wait long to be seated and the servers were very attentive. I would highly recommend making reservations, the room was practically filled at 630pm on a Monday evening. I was able to make a reso after 3pm the same day. Meal portions are super generous, expect to take to-go if ordering individually. Fried squid was deliciously seasoned and texture was on point. The Sausage, Ricotta, Broccoli rabe w/ penne was good and flavorful, was only a little disappointed that it came out just luke warm. Staff was quick to fix and to my surprise brought out a freshly made plate. Wife got the Mixed Seafood pasta. Big bowl of pasta in a light, fresh tomato sauce with a layer of mixed seafood on top. Seafood pasta done right! Although the setting
First time visit! Entrance to the place can be deceiving. It feels like you are in the wrong place while walking upstairs to the 2nd floor. Once you open the door, it's a different vibe. The pictures tells it all. Like my son say, "I haven't had a great meal for a long time." Trust me, you will not be disappointed. PS, you need to order the tiramisu before you leave.
Overall it’s a great Italian restaurant and we really liked it, the only thing that I did not like about was too much seasoning on some of the dishes. The one that I ordered had too much garlic. Their fried squid appetizer was amazing and highly recommended. Their portion size is huge and it can easily fill two people per dish.
