Fantastic food. It was very fresh and tasty. Great ambiance and the name is brilliant. Totally worth braving a mall (blech) to grab a bite.

Vietnoms is located on the side aisle of the SoFA Market, which is a cute little food hall with plenty of seating for groups (and a bar in the back!). I ordered the vermicelli bowl with lemongrass chicken and lemongrass pork. The bowl comes with plenty of refreshing greens, pickled radish and carrot, and egg rolls. The meat had excellent flavor - great smokiness from the grill, and tanginess from good marination. The egg rolls were okay - a little stale, and possibly not as well fried as some other egg rolls I’ve had in the area. All in all it was a solid bowl, but I think it falls just short of the most OG places around San Jose, which is an admittedly high bar.
