Vero Chicago Pizza

Tried this place for the first time tonight. Excellent pizza! We got a thin crust half pepperoni pineapple half pepperoni onion and the pizza was delicious… A lot of cheese which is always good. We also order the gravy bread, which was OK the pizza was definitely better than the gravy bread. The only complaint I have against everything is that it was pretty expensive $35 for a large pizza with two toppings and cheese bread. But with the economy and the cost of things the way it is currently I guess I can understand. We will definitely be back.

We ordered a pizza and two salads for dinner tonight. The pizza was amazing! We chose the Soldier Field and added some chicken. BUT…… when we opened the salads wait a minute! We ordered two large Buddyz salads, which according to the ordering platform should have included bacon, turkey, salami, and provolone. Nope. None of it. I received lettuce, a couple cucumber slices, and carrots. For $10. Are you kidding me? The pizza was amazing, but when you splurge to eat out after a tough day and you don’t get what you order, what a huge disappointment. Unfortunately, I won’t go back. Two stars only for the pizza.

Had potential. Our wing order was messed up and when it came back was under cooked. The inferno wings were pretty good. The thin crust pizza was ok but the thicker deep dished looked amazing. My wife and I agreed we would come back and try the deep dish. Then the check came. The server mixed up our check with a different table and they had paid and left. I received the other tables check "adjusted" to what ours should have been. I never saw my actual bill so there's that. Cool place staff was friendly the bar stays open later than the kitchen for the later crowd. Will update review if/when we try the deep dish.
