Minestroni soup was hot and tasty, salad was cold, fresh and crisp, Appetizer, bacon rapped shrimp was hot and delicious, unfortunately my meal came out luke warm, but also tasty, primerib. My husband's lamb was over cooked, but think our server was new and may have put in the cook time wrong. She was very friendly and will become great with a little training. Overall we will eat here again.

Updated review: Val's is crowded again. Back when the pandemic was raging, I was the only customer in there. There's now a 15 minute wait for a table. Tonight I had the prime rib, regular cut $36. The food here is good. I enjoyed it more than the last place I went to. The service here was lacking because it was so crowded. My waiter disappeared after my food arrived. The busser refilled my water on a regular basis. I needed more au jus. Luckily the busser was able to help me. Good job staff at Val's. Original review: We are glad Val's is opened for indoor dining again. (8/4/2021) We had the onion soup, pancetta shrimp, prime rib and southern fried chicken. Service was as expected and their cocktails weren't bad. There weren't that many people having dinner but the bar was full. We chose to eat in the bar room instead of the main dining room because of the televisions. The Olympics were on and it was nice to have something in the background. The only minor nit was the southern fried chi
