Great service by our waitress Maria but the gentleman that seated us apparently was having a bad day he was curt and rude slammed our salsa on the table I asked for lemon for my water and he said No! Another waitress brought us lemon. I won't be returning to this location the 11th n O Street are kind and welcoming.

It is comforting to be able to go to a restaurant that is a neighborhood favorite. You are sure to run into friends. The inside decor is a bit odd and they have always had a large patio. The service is friendly but more than that. It is caring. I have a dietary restriction and they not only accommodated me but the winter wanted to be sure that I was well fed and happy with my dish. It creates a relaxed atmosphere that is like being at home. BTW, you can speak either English or Spanish there.
