UP on the Roof

Went for brunch with some friends and enjoyed it! Portion sizes for the entrees are pretty large and I brought home a to-go box. The burger was great, but the poutine lacked actual fries. I had the Strawberry Thyme cocktail and loved it! Drinks were smaller than I expected. Otherwise, good service and tasty food.

The location is prime but other than that I would pass. The food is priced accordingly for the location but none of the several plates we order were worth it. The mushroom risotto was creamy but bland and had about 3 little pieces of mushroom, added shrimp and there were 3 big prawns these were very good. The fries were dry and flavorless, not sure if frozen but I wouldn’t order again. We got the nachos and were told they came with pulled pork, which looked like ground meat, sooooo not sure if that was supposed to be the pulled pork. The service was great, from the host to the Bartender and server. If the food doesn’t improve I don’t see how this place will make it around so many great choices.

Long post alert but the bottom line is the Prime Rooftop Burger was really good, the $23 Bayou Crab cakes were MINISCULE, everything else - left a lot to be desired. There are two reasons I didn't give it 3 stars: the portion sizes and the service. Note that I understand that there may be staff shortages. Two of us went early evening to hopefully enjoy a sunset on the outdoor patio. It was very crowded but we were fortunate to walk up to a group that was leaving a prime table overlooking the square not long after we arrived. We stacked and put the dishes and glasses to the front end so someone could take them and wipe the table for us. 10 minutes, 15 minutes passed and no one came by to greet us or take the dishes. I walked over to the bar area and asked if we had to order there or if someone would come to us and he stated someone would come to us. Another 10 minutes passed and we got the attention of one of the runners and asked them to take the dirty dishes. We ended up wiping t
