Great food and atmosphere. I was a bit taken back after we ordered strawberry lemonade for several of the guest and was not told until after the first drink that there was not free refills. So they all resorted to water. I feel regular lemonade could have been refilled.
This was a great start that kinda fizzled as the time went. Pros- great atmosphere and vibe with super cute touches everywhere of pups. Our second bartender was friendly. Food was decent, not bad but not mouth watering want to finish all my food kinda thing. Cons- the chicken wings tons were deep fried but soggy and the inside while having a great flavor was simply puréed something that dripped right out as soon as you took your first bite. Our service started out decent (first bartender honestly made you feel like you were a nuisance to be there but our lady bartender was friendly) the downside wa as soon as we got our food we were forgotten about, not checked in on and had to ask for our bill and to go containers three times. Would we go back, maybe, loved the vibe, but would not be in our top ten recommendations.
Bears is a nice place. Sometimes it has music or karaoke and is generally a fun time. The food has seen a constantly decline in the past 10 years or so. It used to be amazing, like top tier. It’s not bad now but it’s not at the level it used to be. Our service is usually good and sometimes you get a server that is really amazing. Over great vibe. Dogs adorn the walls and that alone makes it worth the price of administration. Love this place.
