Nice place in a new neighborhood in San Marcos. The service was quick, friendly but a little bit pushy to order things right away. The food is good, the menu is large with options for everyone including gluten free and vegetarian. Prices are reasonable.
Finally tried this place! Food is exceptional! The sushi was delicious. We had the volcano and the baked salmon. I also ordered the piggy bao but sadly they forgot about it until we mentioned it to the waiter. I had to wave someone down because no one checked on us once we received the rolls. But once we received the porkbelly bao, It was worth the wait. Delicious grilled porkbelly on top of fermented pickles and cilantro with cabbage. Let me tell you, I will go back just for the Bao! The flavors were phenomenal. I ate it too fast to take a photo
I ordered seaweed salad, toro nigiri, spicy tuna roll and freshman roll. It was an off time to go around 4 pm and the first person got their food about 15/20 minutes before me when we both ordered rolls. I had an average experience here, not blown away by the food quality.
