I would love to give this place a higher review but sadly 2 stars is what it’s worth to me. I called my order in and decided to go with the 5 wing lunch special which comes with rice & salad. My initial request was to add extra rice instead of salad and was advised that it would be an up charge so I stuck with the salad (glad that I did!)…. Upon arriving I was greeted with a dry “Hello” and the vibe that I got was more like I was a bother vs a paying customer. Nevertheless I paid and attempted to make small talk as I waited for my salad to be prepared, the cashier was completely uninterested. After a few minutes of waiting my salad was up. After arriving back to work I was so sad to take a bite of a hard patch of rice. I figured that maybe it was just that one clump but I was wrong… it seems like maybe he was down to the bottom of the pot and decided to make what was left work. My wings was no better. The flavor was AMAZING but my chicken was so hard that it wasn’t edible out of a 5 pi
Well not quite what I was expecting. Despite the reviews we tried instead. The Mac & Cheese and rice were decent, but the Jerk chicken was dry. What was disappointing was the Chicken tenders and fries. It tasted like fast food or store brought from the frozen section in the grocery store. -The cook wasn’t wearing any gloves, the restaurant floors was dirty, untidy areas & this unpleasant mold/mildew like smell is what hit me once i entered ????????
I love love love this place. Their jerk wings are amazing! And I don’t know if it’s new or I just overlooked it but the fried cauliflower was amazing! I seriously could just order a big batch of that and be so happy! Their oxtails are delish too! This place is a must try!
