Two Podners Restaurant

Went and got a oxtail plate lunch which is $31. To come come and the oxtails were undercooked which gave a tough consistency. I will not be returning to two podners the food tasted horrible!

First time visiting this spot and we ordered the fried catfish w/greens and yams; brisket w/baked beans and corn on the cob. The catfish was cooked perfectly and delicious the brisket sandwich was ok, nothing to brag about plus it was small. Now I've never in my life had greens with celery chopped up in it and I was not a fan. The yams could have used more flavor. We had our toddler with us and was a little disappointed at the "kids meal" option. Now on to dessert! We got the banana pudding and peach cobbler and I will give them an B+ for that. The peach cobbler was delicious and FINALLY a restaurant that doesn't use cool whip or instant pudding in their banana pudding. It could have been a tad bit sweeter. The customer service was not that great...the cashier. We don't frequent this side of town so I doubt we will visit again.

Does this look like $27 worth of food? Well it is. Lol double sausage, baked beans and mashed potatoes. I'm not going to lie I thought my meal was overpriced, however I am happy with the portion, Lord knows I was happy with the taste, and I will definitely be a return customer. But probably only a single serving of sausage next time LOL The taste, the sauce, I love everything about my meal except the price I paid but I have no regrets about it. Which is why I'm still giving it five stars this place is a major major major major major GO!!!
