Man, that chicken was good. Fried perfectly, seasoned amazing, and not super greasy! The fries were delicious, the beans are the right amount of sweet, the okra fried to perfection, and that man was cheesylicious. The service was outstanding!
First time at Gus’s and enjoyed it. The atmosphere is great and the staff were incredibly helpful and nice. One piece of chicken was dripping with oil on the bottom but the other two were great. The potato salad was the best part with the pickle flavor giving me the perfect kick of flavor.
My daughter tried this for lunch and said it was great so I tried it for dinner. I went after work and It was actually good and good next day as well. My boyfriend really like the chicken too, he didn't care for the sides though.l think the greens came from a can but had a really good flavor, never been a fan of frozen fries, okra and mac and cheese were basic. A bit pricey though.
