Turtles Restaurant

View was great. Coconut Shimp appetizer was good. The $23 shrimp and crab scampi was definitely not worth it. It was lacking a lot of flavor and portion size. The bread before the meal was the best part. Unfortunately our server made it back at the end of the meal to ask if we wanted drink refills, which we declined. Overall, service was bad and left us thirsty and still a bit hungry. I guess we paid for the view.

I really wanted to find a dog friendly restaurant on the water and saw Turtles listed online. When I called they stipulated that the area designated for dogs was next to the marina. We didn't care, we love boats! We were very happy with our table, the view, the service and the food. My husband thought that the lunch menu was limited but we both found things to order without any problems. They serve Sunday brunch. Hoping that we'll get to do that next weekend! Weather permitting.

Great food, service and view on the bay. We stopped in to Turtles for the first time to check this place out. We were greeted by our server, Alexandra who welcomed us to what was to become a truly enjoyable visit. We both ordered the shrimp and seafood casserole and I enjoyed the bleu cheese wedge salad. The salad was a very generous and tasty surprise and the lettuce was crisp and fresh. We took some time to enjoy the view and also some far distant lightning flashes over the bay while waiting for our entrees. There was a cool breeze making the visit quite comfortable and when our dinners arrived they were spectacular with a browned cheese crust covering the casseroles. We ordered our dinners without starch and opted for double mixed vegetables which were prepared in a garlic butter sauce and full of flavor. Our server made sure our ice teas were constantly filled. Dinner was a definite success and we actually returned the next day for a Sunday brunch. We do live within driving distanc
