We recently completed a trip to Raleigh North Carolina and it is such a beautiful city. The food is also amazing our first stop was Tupelo Honey. The customer service was great. The menu is a what you expect fried chicken, grits, waffles, breakfast food, Fried green tomatoes and much more. The separation is you can find the same thing in a waffle house but the food at Tupelo is a cut above. Grits with goat cheese (c'mon man) they are creamy,rich and full of flavor. The fried chicken is well seasoned with they call honey dust. The care an love they put into their food speaks at the table. Next time I'm in Raleigh my first stop will be Tupelo Honey! Good food. Great staff. Nice atmosphere. They have a cool light in the entryway that looks like a bee hive dripping honey. I had eggs and chicken strips and waffles. Yummy! The parking seems tricky but it's not. There's a little parking lot down the street on the right. I'd go there again for sure!
This place is layed back and peaceful. The staff is nice and friendly. I eat at the bar and the bartender was a great guy. I had the glazed meatloaf with collards and fries. I also had the banana pudding equally as good. Made with real bananas. The beers on tap are good and cold. Enjoy!
