The chicken nachos were very good. Chips and salsa we also very good. The burrito was not very good as it had little flavor and was saturated in “bean juice” that caused it to leaked all over the place. It is a cool venue with great service though, just don’t get the burrito.
Brooke was absolutely amazing! Extremely accommodating and pays attention to detail. We took a party of 7 here tonight and she was on top of everything. We even brought our own cake and she had it cut in the back for us and brought it out on plates with forks. The food was delicious as well as the margaritas!! Funny because we almost went to the Village Draft House across the parking lot but they were unwelcoming and rude! Soooo glad we choose Cantina 18 instead!!! Thanks Brooke for such a wonderful experience we will definitely be back!
Sadly the food here was all the way around disappointing. Everything from the salsa to the guac to the enchiladas, was a 5 out of 10. We really wanted it to be better as they are very close to home and the ambiance is actually nice for a neighborhood bar/restaurant. Everything had almost no taste…and no, I don’t have COVID. The salsa and guacamole had no substance at all. The enchiladas were pre-made, where the sauce had soaked into the tortilla and thus vanished both in presentation and flavor. It had clearly been reheated as the rice was hard and oily. The “melted” cheese was firm from having cooled back down and was almost as cold as the shredded iceberg lettuce that covered it. The pickled onions had not been jarred for the proper amount of time, so they were firm and crunchy. Everything was simply wrong and the food, in a word…soulless.
