Tucker Town

We always stop for iced tea but on occasion I am allowed a pile of brisket and pulled pork. Both very good but order fatty parts if that is what you prefer. Cole slaw good as greens, burgers. Enjoy.

Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was mediocre. The place was covered with Spiders. Creeped me out. Their tea tasted moldy and was pretty bad. I had the BBQ street tacos and my wife had the BLT. Both were ok.

"Best BBQ in Texas" the sign reads. How I had hoped. We ordered at 4:30 - a rack of ribs, a pound of sausage and a chopped beef sandwich with tater salad, and 2 drinks. At 4:51 we finally got our food. The place wasn't busy. In fact, there was only one other couple there. I asked them if it was taking a while because they had to warm it up. They actually said yes! So, after waiting 21 minutes for simple BBQ, that should be kept in a warming oven, I got COLD pork ribs. The sausage was lukewarm but cut incorrectly. Anyway spending $57 for warmed up leftovers out of the fridge is ridiculous!
