My wife and I saw a billboard yesterday and made the quick decision to exit and check out Angelita Vineyard & Winery. We are SO pleased we did. We arrived a few minutes prior to opening and managed to get a little work done. At precisely noon, we walked through the door and were greeted enthusiasticall by our hostess, Lydia. She gave us the run down on options and we each chose to do a tasting of their driest five wines as well as order the Salmon Brucetta as an appetizer prior to our planned meal down the road. Everyone's palate is different so I'll let you decide what you like. However, the Anna's Angel is special. The bruchetta was wonderful too. Our favorite thing about this quaint stop was Lydia's enthusiastic hospitality. We cannot recommend Angelita highly enough!
A hidden gem so close by !!! Truely enjoyed an afternoon @ winery within an hour of our home --- an unexpected treat for sure. The wine was most pleasant with a variety for many tastes for many palates. Beautiful grounds & small but lovely vineyards. Food was most reasonable with up to date with favorable offerings. Knowledgeable & engaging staff. Most definitely going back with guests from our home & neighbors! Such a treat!!
Great place to stop and relax with some triple chocolate cheese cake and some very good wine. The wife and I loved it. Try the Inheritance Red.
