My husband took me here for our first anniversary dinner. The vibe and atmosphere was great. The server was very attentive. The food was good, but it was not as great as I was expecting. I'm a pretty tough critic when it comes to telling food, and I was hoping that it would be more authentic. My husband got the carbonara, which he loved. And I got the Gnocchi. It was still good! Just not amazing.
We were in NYC for a day and decided to go to Traytoria Trecolori for dinner. The whole experience was amazing. Beautiful decor and the food was so, so good. Hubby ordered the soup of the day which included muscles in the shell - exactly like how they serve muscle soup in Italy. The drinks were good as well. Our waiter made the entire dinner fabulous.
Not impressed. The food taste was not worth the price they charged. And be careful they charge for soda refills. And a glass of wine… outrageously priced. Was celebrating a birthday do you think they would’ve at least sung happy birthday. No! Will not go back, nor will I recommend.
