Trattoria 225

We went to the restaurant on a Thursday night and we were seated when we arrived. The restaurant is very welcoming, clean, and organized. Our waiter Eddie was friendly and attentive. He offered suggestions from the menu and checked on the table regularly. The food was tasty and the coffee and desert was very good. This place is good for a date night, friends gathering, or family outing. Street parking, but more importantly the area is walkable. Plenty of things to see during the warm weather either before or after eating. Oak Park where this restaurant is located is one of my favorite areas in the city.

Had an amazing time. Exceeded expectations. Service was excellent, food perfect. They were so sensitive to the fact we had to ask about ingredients of all the gluten free offerings, due to other foods we had to avoid. They even caught something I forgot to specify to be gluten free. The chocolate brownie gelato cake, drinks, mussels, portobello mushroom and pizza were delicious. Thank you for a great night out!

Pizza night at Tratoooria 225. Choose any of their rustic pizzas 2 for $20. Add a salad and wine and have yourself a well deserved break. Al fresco dining at it's finest. Great food, friendly attentive service and location in Oak Park's Arts District. Ordered the Pizza Margherita with fresh basil, mozzarella and tomatoes. 2nd pizza was the FunGuy! Mushrooms and smoked Gouda. Try the Grilled ceasar, a quite pleasing and delicious Romain lettuce. House wines are a heavy pour and stored well at the right temps. Definitely will return.
