Pete's Red Hots

I love their grilled chicken sandwich but the past two times I've ordered I didn't get what I asked for on it... I ordered tonight July 6, 2022 I asked for American cheese, grilled onions, mayonnaise, mustard and hot peppers... I was charged for cheese but didn't get a slice on my sandwich. And I heard the cashier tell the cook twice to add cheese. I ordered last week the same way but they forgot the onions... Not realizing both times until I got home. And of course they are closed now because it's after 9:30pm. I will be calling in the morning. I need for them to pay attention.

I was practically raised here. Best beef in chicago. The only place that makes great ham cheese pita. My only regret in life was moving farther than 2 blocks away from Pete's.

Been coming here since I was a teenager. Best double cheeseburger on the west side of Chicagoland. I've heard the rest of the food is good too, I don't doubt that. But I've never eaten anything else at Pete's for over 30 years.
