Tra di Noi

My family regularly eats at Tra di Noi. Malibu Country Mart is half-way between Santa Monica & Thousand Oaks and we always enjoy stopping there when we get together with the kids. Food is generally good...how can you go wrong with a good pasta dinner! However, we were shocked when we paid $70.00 for a bottle of ''Pessimist'' red blend which costs $18.00 @ Costco. We know that restaurants make money on alcohol and not food but gouging customers on a bottle of wine is a bit hard to digest. Granted that we had a choice to get another wine, we went ahead and got what we liked anyway. We do like the atmosphere there, especially at night but will think twice about getting a fairly average bottle of red wine there in the future!

A young lady whose job is to welcome and seat guests, was racist. She refused to give us the table we requested, yet happily gave it to the white couple behind us. We waited for a long time to be served. Not worth it

What a bummer. Went yesterday with my mother and sister and what a disaster it was. The server hated us. My sister and I are in the service industry so we are super appreciative and polite at all times. The food was fine, but oh my we had to ask for everything in order to get service. Can we please have some water? Can we please have another cup of coffee. The buser was awesome and helped as much as he could, but our server hates serving people.
