My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. When we were seated, our waitress asked us if we were celebrating anything and after finding out it was an anniversary dinner, she brought over two glasses of champagne. The appetizers, entrees and desserts were all amazing! We’ll definitely be back!
Feel like I lucked out with them serving Brisket for the BBQ of the day when we went. It was awesome. Shrimp and grits were on point. I feel like the Jambalaya could have been better, the flavor was a bit too tomato-forward for my taste. Service was great and the ambiance was quiet and relaxing. Overall a very enjoyable night out. Kid-friendliness: Not really a kid-oriented establishment but they welcomed kids and our 6 year old enjoyed it, no issues Parking: Decent amount of street parking in front of restaurant
I went here a few years back for a girl's day brunch and remember the food being so so good. My husband and I went last night to celebrate our anniversary and EVERYTHING about this place was amazing! First off, when I made the reservation, they asked if we needed any handicap accessibility due to dining being on the 2nd and 3rd floors and not having an elevator. The historical aspect of the building is beautiful but I imagine a bit tricky to accommodate wheelchair access (we did not need handicap access but I assume they would have made wonderful accommodations). They also made sure over the phone if we had any food allergies or restrictions and again when we were seated by the hostess and the server. Ok, now the food, the FOOD was out of this world amazing! I wanted everything on the menu lol. For dessert, get the gooey butter cake, you will not be disappointed. The service was outstanding, the food came out in a timely manner and not rushed or too long. This was a true dining experie
