Torres Fresh Market #5

So today I bought tamales and carnitas for breakfast as I get home I noticed that the food is below average over cook both the tamales and the Carnitas. I bring the food back to get a refund and I’ve been here for 30 minutes waiting for a refund the customer service is horrible obviously they only care about taking the customers money but they can careless about making what’s right for the customer and make a refund. Again horrible customer service beyond disappointing. Oh and I didn’t even get a full refund.

Advertise a low price, then they scan it at regular price. They should honor the advertised prices, they are the ones that mark the prices.. The vegetables look very dirty and smelly (Tomatoes,Onions).. I have also seen moldy dry bread.... Some Canned foods have grime/dust on them. I have been suprised with rotten dry peppers fresh out the bag as well, not so fresh... & To top it off, they over price everything... They should provide 100% quality for those prices.

I love shopping at the store for all my fruits and vegetables, meat cuts not found at Jewel or Mariano’s. Always well stocked with variety of what I need for traditional Latin dishes and other cooking. Love how they packaged veggies during COVID—very neat , clean and convenient. Also they have great authentic salsas. The staff are always super nice and professional. I think the green pozole and tacos at the restaurant are tasty and great service from the owner and staff! Try it out. As far as pricing, for traditional American brands or packaged food your cheapest bet is a big box store, but ethnic brands, produce and meats are a great price and great variety.
