One location not to miss when you visit Boston. Advanced bookings is highly recommended as there is a long wait for available tables. We had the grilled octopus, grilled peppers, oysters, bone marrow and mussels. The IPA on tap is very good and of course try both the seafood and vegetarian paellas.

Amazing tapas with bold flavors and interesting toppings. Recently took a visit with my friends to enjoy some good tapas. Similar to other South End eateries, the place had a cozy yet casual and globetrotting vibe which went along well with the theme of the restaurant. At Toro, most tapas are Barcelona-inspired plates, but some come with an interesting twist that seamlessly incorporates elements from Korean, Japanese, and Thai cuisines. Examples of this were uni bocadillo with miso butter and seared scallops with Thai basil pesto. Traditional tapas dishes were also excellent, and some of my favorites were San Sebastián mushrooms and spice-rubbed hanger steak. Since the portions for each dish were smaller than we expected, we finished off the meal with a small paella Valenciana, and we loved that it was packed with a variety of delicious seafood. So far, Toro was the best tapas experience that I had in Boston. They may be slightly more pricey than other famous tapas restaurants around,
