Topshelf Restaurant & Lounge

If I could give 10 Stars - I would!! I was really excited to spend time with my girlfriend/Milford Mill alumni - Jameel, and to get the chance to visit Topshelf Restaurant & Lounge owned by another fellow alumni - Devin Chambers. I ordered the Salmon with rice pilaf and my husband had the Catfish and grits. Absolutely Fantastic - The meal was delicious! I have missed Chef Dev's Salmon platter from his previous business in Baltimore. Hubby devoured his meal and said to me on the following day - "We need to go back"!! Our waitress was on point and very professional. She constantly came to the table to make sure our dining experience was delightful. We surely will visit again when we come back to the ATL.

Food was very good! The bartender didn’t know how to make my drink, which was a mezcal old fashioned. I explained it to her and it came out great! The only issue I had was the drink prices changing when I went to the hookah side, it took me back a little. But other than that great time!!

I wanted so much to like this place but was very disappointed. My friend and I went there to celebrate her birthday. To start, I ordered 12 piece lemon pepper wings with a Fayetteville Apple drink. My friend also ordered a 12 piece with a drink and fries. The wings were the smallest I’ve ever seen. So small they added 3 more to attempt to compensate. There was no lemon pepper sauce; the wings were just fired without flavor. Mentally, I could not finish them due to the size. I questioned where and what they came from. Also, when the server brought my drink to the table, the cup was half full.. I asked why and was told it just came that way. This meal totaled $71, to include a mandatory 15% gratuity. I don’t typically leave bad reviews but felt this was very necessary. We left early. Our night was a waste.
