Top Crawfish

I went there with my sisters during their grand opening. Shockingly it was pretty good. I love how they have different seasoning. I chose the Cajun flavor, really spicy. It wasn’t too salty either.

Sooo we went because this place was rumored to be owned by the same owners who own another popular seafood boil place. Prices seemed fair so we ordered 4 lbs of live crawfish and 3 lbs of snow crab plus extra corn and potatoes, and sauce. Cajun spicy. Crawfish was cooked well, the snow crab had a slight fishy smell. Like it was not fresh or had been sitting there. Also the seasoning is fishy. The sauce it’s self had a fishy weird taste. I had to makeshift come up with one with what i had in my pantry. The corn had a weird waxy texture and the potatoes were over cooked so they were just disintegrating. Also the flavor of the sauce did not exist it was just salty. We spent about $170 for the worst seafood dinner on Mother’s Day. I will not be returning and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Top Crawfish has always been my go-to for fried seafood. Visited today after a long hiatus. I usually order via Grubhub, but today, I decided to drop by. The young lady that took my order appeared preoccupied by the young man hanging around the register rather than attending to customers. Additionally, when I received my order, there was a mound of fries, so I asked if they no longer served salads, and she stated that I only asked for fries. I was under the impression that all seafood platters came with a side salad because I've never had to request it in the past. The young lady then said, "Maybe next time," and continued chatting with the young man. How about, maybe next time, I will not patronize Top Crawfish.
